My name is Fernanda Delgado, and my journey has been one of resilience, faith, and purpose. Coming from a humble background, life was never easy. I lost my parents at the age of five, which meant that hard work and perseverance became second nature to me. But despite the struggles, I believed every challenge shaped me for something greater.

In 1993, I married my best friend, and together, we built a life that took us across the world—from Japan to the United States, where I was honored to study at Harvard University in Boston. I earned two degrees in this country, yet my biggest lesson did not come from a classroom—it came during the most challenging period of my life.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic cancer. At a time when my world seemed to fall apart, I experienced a profound act of kindness: women with hearts full of generosity cleaned my home for weeks, not just to remove dust and germs but to remind me that I was not alone. That my home—my sanctuary—was still a place of peace, order, and hope.
